“An excellent motel - something of a hidden gem”
Very comfortable, luxurious feel about it. Very helpful and friendly owners. It is very easy to find this motel as it is on one of the main roads into the city centre, yet the motel is tucked away and is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Even though it was a quick in and out and did not get to use the bathroom amenities ie: shower, I was very impressed! Exactly what I needed and wanted and price!! Love the Keep NZ Green image and hope the worms enjoyed my left-overs :) As Arny would say "ILL BE BACK!"

Lovely friendly host. Exceptional unit, clean, tasteful design, practical, warm, convenient. Perfect in every way. So nice to have a teapot and coffee plunger! Nicest motel we’ve ever stayed in (and have visited many). Loved genuine environmental message, recycling bins, scrap collection for worm farm. So clean, so well laid out. If we come to Dunedin again, it will be here!

A very comfortable unit. Home away from home. A very friendly staff, as always very efficient and very helpful too. I would always recommend staying at the Garden Motel. A very pleasant and most importantly, a very safe venue to stay at.
